Lately across social media platforms, people have been sharing their unpopular opinions. Some are controversial while others are more light-hearted but it got me thinking…

What are some of my unpopular opinions? I definitely have more but this list is just for the fun of it.

{ONE} Halloween decor is tacky.

I do not understand the hype around why someone would want skeletons, spiders, and cobwebs in their house on purpose. Why clean your house and keep it organized just to make it look like it’s been neglected for hundreds of years?

{TWO} Calling your significant other “wifey” or “hubby” is cringe.

Just… don’t. I can’t explain it, but I could never get on this trend.

{THREE} TikTok isn’t that great.

I said what I said. I recently made an account because everyone and their mother was on it. It’s not that great. Sure, it’s another social media app to scroll and watch videos on, but how many does one person need? It’s just another way to waste time.

{FOUR} Coke is better than Pepsi.

Coke and Coke products taste better. If I order a Diet Coke and the waiter says, “Is Diet Pepsi okay?” No. The answer is no, it’s not okay. Pepsi is gross.

{FIVE} Candy corn tastes good.

Always have loved it and always will.

{SIX} Thanksgiving side dishes are better than the turkey.

Justice for the green bean casserole, stuffing and mashed potatoes! Thanksgiving side dishes are the real MVPs of the meal.

{SEVEN} Texting stresses me out.

I understand texting is supposed to be more convenient and all, but it stresses me out. Unless I’m texting you something urgent (which, most of the time, I’m not), there’s no need to text me back right away. I’d rather receive a phone call instead!

{EIGHT} Ross and Rachel were on a break.

Rachel said they were on a break and so they were on a break. It doesn’t mean Ross’ actions were correct, but they were technically on a break. I’m #TeamRoss on this one.
