Gift Ideas that Support Small Businesses

Blogmas Day 8

I’ve been waiting for this one! If you’ve been around for a minute, you know that I love rounding up some of my favorite small businesses and sharing them with you. This week is “Gift Ideas” week, and I hope you’ve been enjoying the gift suggestions for everyone on your list.

Today I’m sharing some of my favorite small businesses because it’s always a good idea to support local and small businesses, not just around the holiday season but all year long. There’s sure to be something for everyone on your list.

FOR THOSE WHO WORK FROM HOME

When I redid my home office, I stumbled upon Flatter Me Prints on Etsy and fell in love with their art prints. I purchased my Coffee & Books print from them and loved the quality and ease of the digital download.

Bloom Planners is another product perfect for those who work from home. They have a variety of planners, styles, and formats, so you’re sure to find one that fits your needs. My go-to for the past few years has been Bloom’s Vision Planner and the Daily Timed To-Do Pad.

I also love Parcel Island’s stationery products. I have a few of her stickers pinned on my bulletin board and they make me so happy! She also has a variety of cards to choose from for any holiday or occasion.

I also can’t help but mention Manor Paper Co, which is the shop I purchased my go-to glass “Work From Home” mug this spring. I love it, along with everything else Leah creates for Manor Paper Co.

FOR THE BOOK LOVER

Earlier this week, I shared a whole Gift Guide for Book Lovers, but one other gift I love is this Little Women devotional by Rachel Dodge of Kindred Spirit Books. It is released in January and I cannot wait to get my hands on it!

FOR THE ENGAGED OR MARRIED COUPLE

My friend McKayla is a talented artist who creates the cutest digital portraits! I love her work, and she’s currently running a holiday sale until 12/13. This is a great gift for a newly engaged or married couple. Who doesn’t love a custom portrait to hang in their house?

FOR THE PERSON WHO IS ALWAYS COLD

Hi, it is me. I am the one who is always cold. Knits by Hyson is one of my favorite knitting accounts to follow. She’s a personal friend, and last year, my cousin ordered a knitted hat for Lucy from this shop and it was the cutest thing ever. I’m currently eyeing the throw blanket from her shop; it looks so warm and cozy.

Another perfect gift for those who need warmth is Zest Energy Tea. I recently discovered Zest energy tea and was surprised when they sent me a variety of teas to test out. Zest has a bunch of different flavors, and they all have as much caffeine as a cup of coffee but without the crash.

FOR THE RECENT HOMEOWNER

I know a few people who have either moved into their own apartment or purchased a house this year. I love a thoughtful, personalized gift and a custom house print is the perfect gift for someone who is turning a house into a home. I recently stumbled upon Laura Schwamman’s work on Instagram and love her work. This one is of my favorite blogger’s house (Carly). Isn’t it beautiful?

I also stumbled on this hilarious candle on Etsy and just had to share. It can be ordered in a variety of scents, too, which is a plus.

FOR THE FASHIONISTA

There are so many talented artists who create unique and beautiful jewelry. A few of my current favorites are Indigo Clay Jewelry, Rapunzel and Croft, and Calico Star Studio. I love how their jewelry is whimsical and classy at the same time. They put so much attention to detail, and it shows in their jewelry.
