My January Reset Checklist
Let me start out by saying, I know a lot of people don’t like the month of January.
And I get it, I really do.
It’s cold (at least where I live). It’s dark. There aren’t tons of things to do. We trudge through the days waiting for spring.
So yeah, I get it. January isn’t the best.
But here’s an unpopular opinion: January is the perfect month to focus on your goals.
It’s the start of a new year and assuming you haven’t completely given up on your resolutions from two weeks ago, you’re probably still feeling motivated and hopeful that this year is going to be a great one.
I love having a “reset” in January and often find myself writing a bunch of random “life admin” tasks that need to get done eventually.
Here’s a tip from your neighborhood Type A friend (aka, me): Make January your reset month.
All of those little to-dos that you keep putting off? Do them in January.
All of the “Ah, one day I need to….” tasks: do them in January.
I know we’re halfway through the month by now, but it’s not too late to start. Every day is a new opportunity to begin.
And to help with that, I’ve created a Coffee With Keri 2022 Reset Checklist for you to download and print! This checklist includes a few of the tasks I tend to focus on in January to get my life “back on track” after a busy holiday season.
Nothing says “fresh start” like a refresh checklist, am I right?
Here’s to a productive month, even though it’s cold and dark and we just want spring weather already.
