On My Radar: Blogmas Edition

Blogmas day 11

Can you believe we’re already on Day 11 of the 12 Days of Blogmas!? I cannot. This mini series has been so fun to plan out and put together. Thank you for reading every day; it means so much to me!

Today I’m sharing five random things that have been on my radar lately that I want to share with you. Let’s get into it!

{ONE} “A Very Maverick Christmas" Album

Maverick City Music released a new album recently, “A Very Maverick Christmas.” They cover a bunch of my favorite Christmas songs and give it that Maverick City/Gospel twist. I think my favorites are "Go Tell It On The Mountain” and “Mary Did You Know?”

{TWO] Red Dress Boutique’s Hot Pink Velvet Blazer & Pants

Red Dress Boutique popped up on my Instagram feed as a sponsored ad, and I started following them because their clothes and accessories are so cute. This hot pink velvet blazer and matching velvet pink pants caught my eye. I am obsessed with the jacket. There are so many ways to wear it! Both pieces also come in dark forest green and a beautiful dark blue. So gorgeous!

{THREE} Carly Riordan’s Christmas Mugs Roundup

I love Carly Riordan’s blog (aka, Carly the Prepster for the OG readers!) and have been following her for years. Her recommendations and gift guides are always spot on, so when I saw she had a whole blog post dedicated to Christmas mugs, I clicked on it immediately. It’s such a cute roundup of adorable Christmas mugs ranging in design, price point, and aesthetic.

{FOUR} Essie’s “Seize the Minute” Nail Polish

I’ve been obsessed with Essie’s “Seize the Minute” nail polish. It’s a beautiful red that’s perfect for the holiday season. It’s not super bright and “in your face,” but more of a muted, deep red that seems to go with everything. It’s an Essie “expressie” shade, which apparently means it dries faster than their regular nail polishes. I will say that I think that’s true, but I still wait more than a few minutes just in case so my nails don’t get ruined immediately.

{FIVE} Generation Friends by Saul Austerlitz

I’ve had Generation Friends by Saul Austerlitz sitting on my bookshelf for over a year now and finally decided to start reading it this week. (It was actually one of the books I listed in my blog post, “12 Books On My 2022 TBR List.”) I’m about 70% through it and it is SO good so far. It's about the making of the show Friends and includes a lot of information and fun facts that I didn’t know about the show… and I’d consider myself somewhat of a Friends expert! I won’t give it an official rating until I’m done, but it’s definitely a must-read if you’re a Friends fan.
