Blogmas Day 16

I thought I’d switch it up a bit and share a few things that have been on my radar this month: media edition. There are some really fun and cool songs, shows & other things that I want to share with you!

{ONE} Pentatonix “Amazing Grace (My Chains Are Gone)” music video

Literally obsessed with this. I love this classic hymn and I think Pentatonix’s rendition of it is beautiful. The RANGE.

{TWO} Bookstagram

I absolutely love the Instagram reader community, also known as Bookstagram. I created my bookstagram account (@readwithkeri) at the very beginning of this year and the community because of it has been incredible this year. So many good book recommendations and aesthetic book photos. It also has motivated me to keep reading which is a bonus!

{THREE} Jingle Bells in a Minor Key

I discovered this dramatic and beautiful version of “Jingle Bells” and I am OBSESSED. I want to learn how to play it because it’s mesmerizing to watch.

{FOUR} Taylor Swift’s Evermore album

Taylor Swift dropped a surprise album last week and shook the Swiftie nation. I’m not a huge Taylor Swift fan but can appreciate a good PR moment and a great album, especially when both things were under wraps until less than 24 hours before the album dropped. It’s the same vibe as Folklore which I can definitely get down with — great background music for working from home or writing sessions!

{FIVE} The Holiday Movies That Made Us: Elf

I discovered this mini Netflix series when I was looking for something to watch/listen to while wrapping gifts. The Elf episode is so cool, especially if you love the movie like I do. (It’s definitely one of my favorite Christmas movies.) The episode is only 45 minutes long so it’s a semi-quick watch about the behind-the-scenes of the creation and making of the movie. Pretty cool!

{SIX} #MarketingTwitter

I stumbled upon a niche group on Twitter that fondly calls themselves #MarketingTwitter. It’s a bunch of people who, like me, work in marketing and communications. Similar to bookstagram, it’s been a fun and encouraging community to be a part of and they share ideas, advice, and marketing-related tips and things. Also, if you don’t already do so, follow me on Twitter: @KeriPapili.
