On My Radar: Holidays Edition
Blogmas Day 20
Today I wanted to share some things that have been on my radar this month. These are things I’ve come across in the past few weeks that I thought were awesome and wanted to share them with you.
{ONE} Alaska Airlines’ Ugly Sweaters
On National Ugly Sweater Day (12/17), Alaska Airlines surprised passengers with Alaska Airlines-branded ugly sweaters on their seats. I thought this was such a fun gesture during a crazy travel season. I can only imagine the looks on the passengers’ faces when they boarded and saw all the festive spirit! Check out the video on Twitter here.
{TWO} Bekah’s 25 Days of Baking on Instagram
My friend Beka is doing a 25-day baking challenge on Instagram Reels. I respect her commitment to the challenge because I can’t imagine how time-consuming it is to bake every single day! But her treats look delicious and I, personally, look forward to seeing what she makes every day. Follow her at @BekahGroop on Instagram.
{THREE} Rachel Dodge’s Devotionals
I recently discovered Rachel Dodge (@KindredSpiritBooks) on Instagram. One of the things that I love is that she combines literature classic with devotionals. She currently has a Jane Austen devotional, an Anne of Green Gables devotional, and she’s coming out with a Little Women devotional in January. Her devotionals walk through each chapter of the classic book and explains how it points to Jesus and His love for us. You can learn more about her devotionals by following @KindredSpiritBooks on Instagram or by preordering the Little Women devotional on Amazon.
{FOUR} “Over the River” by Pentatonix and Lindsey Stirling
Pentatonix released a Christmas album and it is a-maz-ing. I literally love the entire album, but one of my favorites is “Over the River” featuring Lindsay Stirling. It’s such a fun song to watch and listen to.
{FIVE} Jingle Bells in Minor Key
I shared this last Christmas, but honestly, it’s so good that I wanted to share it again. I absolutely love this hauntingly beautiful rendition of Jingle Bells. It’s played in a minor key and gives a unique spin on a beloved classic Christmas song. I am obsessed.
