Gift Guide for People Who Work From Home
BLOGMAS DAY 6
Working from home is great and comes with a lot of perks. However, there are a few essentials that can definitely elevate the experience. If you’re looking for gift ideas for the person in your life who works virtually, here are a few ideas that they’re sure to love!
{ONE} Coffee mug warmer
There’s nothing worse than brewing a fresh hot coffee and then it going cold because you got distracted or pulled into a last-minute Teams meeting. Enter: a coffee mug warmer! It may sound silly when the person could technically walk to the microwave and warm it up themselves, but who wants to do that? Believe me, you cannot go wrong with a coffee mug warmer. Here’s one I found for less than $15 on Amazon.
{TWO} A Stanley cup
I personally do not own a Stanley Cup, but I have heard amazing things about this miracle mug that keeps your water ice cold for hours. I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t intrigued by all the hype surrounding this cup. It has a straw, fits in car cupholders, and holds 40 ounces of water. Speaking from experience, it is difficult to stay hydrated when you’re sitting at your desk all day, but a cute Stanley Cup could help fix that! You can purchase a Stanley Cup on a few websites, but I discovered that Dick’s Sporting Goods offers cute color options like Petal and Orchid.
{THREE} Cubed timer
A cubed timed is a perfect addition to any desk that can help you stay focused on the task at hand. I set timers all of the time to stay in focus mode, and when the timer goes off, it’s a reminder for me to get up, stretch, and walk around for a few minutes so I’m not constantly sitting down. I love this cute cubed timer on Amazon; it’s less than $11 and comes in a few different color options.
{FOUR} A cute new mousepad
Elevate their desk game with a cute new mousepad. It may sound silly, but it can truly make all the difference. I’ve had this mousepad from Bloom Planners for a few years and love it.
{FIVE} Under-the-desk footrest
It may sound silly, but an under-the-desk footrest is a great give for the virtual worker (or any worker for that matter!) It can help improve posture, decrease pain relief, and provide overall comfort for someone who sits a lot of the day. This footrest is less than $40 on Amazon and has over 22,000 great reviews.
{SIX} Daily planner or notepad
I love to write things down and keep track of the meetings and tasks I’m responsible for during the day. A daily planner or notepad is a no-brainer option for someone who loves to make to-do lists, take notes in meetings, or even doodle while on phone calls. I’m a huge fan of Bloom Planners and they have an array of planning pads and bound to-do books to choose from.
{SEVEN} Bluelight glasses
Everyone knows staring at a screen for hours at a time isn’t great for you. Gift the remote worker a pair (or two) of Bluelight glasses. You can purchase these in a variety of styles and colors, too! Here’s a pack of three pairs of Bluelight glasses for less than $15.
{EIGHT} Mini Keurig
A mini Keurig is a great addition to any home office. Trust me, I speak from experience! It’s perfect for when you have a few minutes in between meetings but don’t have time to head to the kitchen to make a quick cup of coffee. I love mine and use it quite frequently! Here’s the one I have from Target.
{NINE} Work From Home mug
I love this Work From Home glass mug from my friend’s business, Manor Paper Co. It is not only aesthetically beautiful, but it holds up to 10 ounces of coffee.
