My Fall 2023 Bucket List

I’ve been trying not to rush into fall this year; mostly because, up until two days ago, it’s been in the low 90s/high 80s and has felt nothing like fall.

I have a personal rule that I don’t purchase or consume anything pumpkin or fall-related until at least September 1.

Well it’s September 15, so I think it’s time we start talking about fall, y’all. Break out your decor and enjoy your pumpkin spice latte, because it’s time.

If you’ve been here for a minute, you know I love a good list. So, why not create a bucket list of sorts for Fall 2023? (I created one for Summer 2023 and it helped me stay accountable to my ideas.)

Drumroll, please… Here is my (unofficially official) Fall 2023 Bucket List.

  • Visit Terrain.

  • Visit an orchard.

  • Bake a pie.

  • Spend a Sunday afternoon watching football and enjoying cozy foods.

  • Make soup. Lots of soup.

  • Bake something pumpkin and delicious.

  • Dress Vienna up for Halloween.

  • Give out candy for Halloween.

  • Host a movie night (Bonus points if it’s outdoors).

  • Decorate our porch.

  • Watch all of the Harry Potter movies.

  • Create a new Spotify playlist perfect for cozy fall days working from home.

  • Take a family walk and enjoy fall foliage.

  • Buy a matching mother/daughter fall outfit.

  • Create a fall discovery basket for Vienna.

  • Read outside.

  • Spend lots of time outside.
