Monthly Roundup: June Favorites
Summer is in full swing and full of fun! We’ve checked off a few summer bucket list items and are excited for what’s to come in July. Here are a few favorites:
{ONE} The Chosen Season 4
The Chosen season 4 released this month, one episode at a time. I truly love The Chosen. It’s authentic, not cheesy, and just all around such a good show about Jesus’ life.
{TWO} Lisa Jewell books
I love Lisa Jewell thrillers and have decided she’s one of my new favorite authors. My friend Drea and I decided to have a little book club and readThe Family Upstairs and The Family Remains together this month. THEY WERE SO GOOD.
{THREE} Playground visits
Vienna is obsessed with being outside and so we’ve been making it a point to find new playgrounds to have outdoor adventures. We visited a local one recently and it was so good, we went back at the next opportunity. She had a blast. It had age-appropriate equipment, lots of shade, fun surprises, and is only a few minutes from our house — a win all around.
{FOUR} Summer maxi dresses
I’ve been on the hunt for some new wardrobe staples and I found a few amazing, beautiful, maxi dresses at Marshall’s. It was such a win; I’m so thrilled about them. They are breezy, flowy, flattering, and the perfect additions to my summer wardrobe. I can’t wait to style them.
{FIVE} Vienna turns 18 months
Vienna is 18 months, which is a huge milestone over here! I feel like she transformed from this tiny baby into a little girl over night. It’s cliche, but true. Her vocabulary is exploding, her curiosity knows no bounds, she learns new skills every day. It is so fun and unbelievable to witness it. Her little personality becomes more apparent every day. It is an empowering and encouraging feeling to know that we’re doing it; we’re making it one day at a time, pivoting and surviving the hard days and fully enjoying and embracing the good ones. I’m so thankful she’s my daughter.
