Monthly Roundup: September Favorites

Hello, September. The unofficial start of FALL, my favorite season.

To be honest, though, the weather didn’t cooperate with my fall dreams. It was warm (very warm) for most of the month, except for a few random days that gave me hope fall is for sure on its way.

I had a lot of anxiety this month, not going to lie. I don’t talk about my anxiety a lot publicly, let alone on my blog, but I wouldn’t be telling the whole truth if I didn’t mention it. This is Coffee with Keri, after all, and if we were sitting and sipping coffee together, I would be completely transparent about it.

Anxiety doesn’t have a specific start and end for me. I can’t pinpoint a moment that brings it to life, but there are some situations that do trigger it. I felt mentally heavy a lot this month, anxious about things that don’t typically affect me. I’m not quite sure what it was, but alas, there is still good in every situation and this month included a few favorites.

{ONE} Florida trip

We flew to Florida for a few days at the beginning of the month to visit family. It was a quick, but great, getaway hanging out with a few of our favorite people.

{TWO} 101 in 1,001 Days Challenge

i shared this yesterday, but the 101 in 1,001 Days Challenge ended this past Sunday, September 29. Crazy that two years later, the challenge has ended. It was a fun and entertaining project, and I am definitely going to create another one shortly.

{THREE} Terrain

I LOVE Terrain, a garden and cafe owned by Anthropologie. There is a Terrain a short drive from our house and we visited it this month to check the fall decor and get dinner. It was lovely, and I highly recommend visiting if you have one near you! They had THE cutest pumpkins and I couldn’t help but take tons of photos of them (including the one in this blog post).

{FOUR} Pumpkin Spice Latte + Pumpkin Cold Brew

Fall isn’t fall without pumpkin spice-flavored coffees. A Pumpkin Spice Latte is an iconic favorite of mine, and I also tried Pumpkin Cold Brew for the first time. Both are delicious!

{FIVE} Essie “On the Bright Cider”

Fall is a great time to switch up your nail color. This month I picked up Essie’s “On the Bright Cider,” and it is definitely my go-to this season. I LOVE it. It’s neutral enough to go with everything, but noticeable enough that I look put together. It also doesn’t chip easily, which is a huge win.

{SIX} Friends

25 YEARS of Friends. The celebration is real. I absolutely love the show Friends and am giddy that everyone is celebrating the 25th anniversary, including stores like Cotton On, by selling Friends merch. I am a sucker for anything Friends, so you can bet that I purchased a Friends coffee mug! Also, my friend surprised me with Central Perk coffee with Friends packaging, and it truly made my entire day (and week and month!) I can’t wait to try it ASAP.
